Indian Premier League is one of the richest domestic cricket tournaments in the world . The inaugural Indian Premier League(IPL) of 2008 offered a winners’ cheque of Rs 4.8 crore and an overall prize money of Rs. 12 crore. Since then the prize money has only been increasing.
